Our story
About Paint Linen
Paint Linen makes hand-painted oil reproductions on canvas — over 59,000 works from 175 artists and 34 subjects, painted to order and shipped worldwide.
Paint Linen started with a simple idea: the paintings people hang in their homes should be painted, not printed. Every canvas we ship is worked by hand in oils, layer by layer, by a studio painter who follows the original composition.
We keep the catalogue deliberately wide — Impressionist landscapes, portraits, wildlife, seascapes and still lifes — and publish the sizes and prices that are actually available. No invented scarcity, no countdown timers.
How a piece is chosen
01
Painted, not printed
Each canvas is worked by hand in layered oil pigment. There is no inkjet stage and no mechanical reproduction anywhere in the process.
02
Made to order
Your chosen size is the size we paint. We leave a blank border for stretching and framing, then send a digital proof before dispatch.
03
A catalogue you can actually browse
Over 59,000 works, grouped by the 175 painters and 34 subjects that people really search for — with sizes and prices that exist.
How the catalogue is organised
Two ways in: Artist, which groups all 175 painters, and Subject, which groups the 34 non-artist themes. A painting can belong to both, so the same canvas may appear on an artist page and a subject page. Every work has one product page with all of its available canvas sizes.
What we commit to
The price shown is the price charged. Every size listed is one we can paint. Orders leave within 1–2 business days, and anything that arrives damaged or simply is not right can come back within 30 days.
