Every painting lists its available canvas sizes on the product page, with a price for each. Sizes are given in inches as width × height (for example 20 × 24 in). Because each canvas is painted to order, the size you choose is the size that is painted.
Choosing a size
A canvas should occupy roughly two-thirds to three-quarters of the width of the furniture or opening beneath it. On a sofa 84 inches wide, a 48- or 55-inch wide canvas usually reads as intentional; anything under 30 inches tends to look like an afterthought.
Measure the wall, not the painting. Leave 6–10 inches of clear space on each side, and hang so the centre of the canvas sits at roughly 57–60 inches from the floor — the standard gallery height.
The blank border
We leave an extra 2-inch unpainted border around all four edges. It is there so the canvas can be stretched onto wooden bars or framed without losing any of the composition. We can stretch it for you at no extra charge, or arrange framing on request.
Custom dimensions
If none of the listed sizes fits, email us with the painting and the dimensions you need. We will confirm whether the composition can be re-proportioned cleanly before you order.
