From the first sketch to the final varnish, A Bather at the Rocks is made by hand. Based on Anders Zorn's original. This timeless oil painting wall decor is crafted on artist-grade canvas for anyone who wants portrait oil painting with the character of an original.
Oil on canvas
61 x 40 in. (155 x 101.7 cm.)
The figurative subject is rebuilt stroke by stroke in oil, giving the finished canvas the depth expected of timeless oil painting wall decor.
This is a genuine hand painted oil painting, not a canvas print. Our painters match the palette of A Bather at the Rocks by eye and build up the figurative forms in thin layers, which is what gives the finished portrait oil painting its luminosity.
Hang this portrait oil painting above a sofa, console, or bed to give a hallway an instant focal point. Its timeless palette works with both minimalist and period interiors, and the piece also makes a considered gift for housewarmings, weddings, and art lovers.
