A Cottage with Thatched Roof in Douarnenez - Maxime Maufra - Landscape Oil Painting
Product Overview
A Cottage with Thatched Roof in Douarnenez by Maxime Maufra is one of those images that never dates. Our studio recreates it as a hand painted oil painting — textured, color-rich, and ready to hang as canvas wall art in a gallery wall, study, or reception area.
Composition & Subject
La Chaumiere a Douarnenez
1898
Every hand painted oil painting in this landscape series is finished on artist-grade canvas and checked against the original before it leaves the studio.
Materials & Craftsmanship
Trained artists work in stages — underpainting, mid-tones, highlights, and detail — using traditional oils on canvas. Because nothing is printed, every hand painted oil painting has its own subtle texture and depth.
What Is Included
- Painted entirely by hand in oils on artist-grade canvas, with no giclée or inkjet process involved.
- An extra 2-inch blank border is left around all edges for easy stretching and framing.
- Sold studio-direct and shipped worldwide, with no intermediary markup.
- Available canvas sizes for this hand painted oil painting: 20 X 24 in, 24 X 36 in, 30 X 40 in, 36 X 48 in, 48 X 72 in.
- Made-to-measure options are available for this landscape canvas.
- Flexible shipping through DHL, UPS, FedEx, USPS and partner networks.
- We stretch your canvas onto wooden bars at no extra charge, and can arrange custom framing.
- You will receive a photo of your completed painting by email for sign-off prior to shipping.
Styling & Placement
For gallery wall art that does not feel generic, a painted landscape canvas is hard to beat. It is a popular landscape oil painting pick for new homeowners and a durable alternative to seasonal poster art.
