A Tahitian Woman with a Flower in Her Hair - Paul Gauguin - Hand Painted Oil Painting
At a Glance
From the first sketch to the final varnish, A Tahitian Woman with a Flower in Her Hair is made by hand. Based on Paul Gauguin's original. This post-impressionist oil painting wall decor is crafted on artist-grade canvas for anyone who wants still life oil painting with the character of an original.
About the Artwork
Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, United States.
Every hand painted oil painting in this still life series is finished on artist-grade canvas and checked against the original before it leaves the studio.
How It Is Made
From primer to varnish, the work is done manually on artist-grade canvas. The absence of digital printing is deliberate: it keeps the still life brushwork visible and gives the post-impressionist oil painting wall decor a museum-like finish.
