After the Rain (Garden with Chickens in St. Agatha) - Gustav Klimt - Hand Painted Oil Painting
About This Piece
From the first sketch to the final varnish, After the Rain (Garden with Chickens in St. Agatha) is made by hand. Based on Gustav Klimt's original. This art nouveau oil painting wall decor is crafted on artist-grade canvas for anyone who wants wildlife oil painting with the character of an original.
Composition & Subject
1899
Oil on canvas
Neue Galerie der Stadt, Wolfgang-Gurlitt-Museum.
Klimt's landscape paintings are equally important and informative. The chickens stand out in quasi-relief from the surface of the painting; as symbols of nature's fertility, they correspond to the erotic syntax of his portraits.
Our artists reproduce this wildlife composition in oil on canvas by hand, preserving the tonal range that makes wildlife oil painting so sought after for a living room.
Materials & Craftsmanship
Expect subtle, hand-made variation rather than factory uniformity. Each wildlife canvas is painted with oils, allowed to cure properly, and inspected before it is approved for shipment.
