Alma de Bretteville Spreckels (Mrs. Adolph B. Spreckels) - Sir John Lavery - Fine Art Oil Painting
At a Glance
Alma de Bretteville Spreckels (Mrs. Adolph B. Spreckels) - Sir John Lavery - Fine Art Oil Painting suits both traditional and modern interiors. As a fine art oil painting, it works as a standalone focal point or as part of an entryway gallery wall, and unlike a print it is genuinely hand painted in oils.
Composition & Subject
1932
Oil on canvas
116.8 cm (45.98 in.) x 91.4 cm (35.98 in.)
Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco - Legion of Honor, California, United States.
The fine art subject is rebuilt stroke by stroke in oil, giving the finished canvas the depth expected of traditional oil painting wall decor.
100% Hand Painted on Canvas
Oil on canvas remains the reference standard for traditional reproductions. Our artists apply pigment by hand, blending the fine art tones directly on the surface for depth that a printed fine art oil painting simply cannot match.
