An Associate of the Prince of Wales - Thomas Gainsborough - Oil Painting
About This Piece
For collectors searching fine art oil painting, An Associate of the Prince of Wales is a dependable choice. Painted in layered oils on canvas after Thomas Gainsborough, this classical work reads equally well as classic canvas wall art and as a thoughtful housewarming gift.
About the Artwork
circa 1781
Oil on canvas
English Heritage - Kenwood House (Iveagh Bequest), London, United Kingdom.
As office wall decor, the piece pairs naturally with other classical wall art and with warm neutrals, timber, and soft natural light.
Materials & Craftsmanship
Oil on canvas remains the reference standard for classical reproductions. Our artists apply pigment by hand, blending the fine art tones directly on the surface for depth that a printed fine art oil painting simply cannot match.
