The Story Behind the Painting
circa 1895
watercolor over pencil on paper
Fogg Museum of Art, United States.
Every hand painted oil painting in this fine art series is finished on artist-grade canvas and checked against the original before it leaves the studio.
100% Hand Painted on Canvas
From primer to varnish, the work is done manually on artist-grade canvas. The absence of digital printing is deliberate: it keeps the fine art brushwork visible and gives the realist oil painting wall decor a museum-like finish.
