At the Water's Edge (Girl with Copper Jug) - Daniel Ridgway Knight - Oil Painting
About This Piece
From the first sketch to the final varnish, At the Water's Edge (Girl with Copper Jug) is made by hand. Based on Daniel Ridgway Knight's original. This traditional oil painting wall decor is crafted on artist-grade canvas for anyone who wants portrait oil painting with the character of an original.
Composition & Subject
Oil on canvas
32 x 26 inches
Private collection, Florida.
Collectors often choose this figurative image when searching for portrait oil painting that feels substantial rather than decorative or disposable.
How It Is Made
Oil on canvas remains the reference standard for traditional reproductions. Our artists apply pigment by hand, blending the figurative tones directly on the surface for depth that a printed portrait oil painting simply cannot match.
