Autumn 1918 has the kind of quiet presence that suits an entryway without dominating it after Boris Kustodiev. Our artists work from the original image in stages, building the landscape forms in oil on canvas. The finished piece sits comfortably alongside landscape oil painting and other timeless wall art.
This is a genuine hand painted oil painting, not a canvas print. Our painters match the palette of Autumn 1918 by eye and build up the landscape forms in thin layers, which is what gives the finished landscape oil painting its luminosity.
Hang this landscape oil painting above a sofa, console, or bed to give an entryway an instant focal point. Its timeless palette works with both minimalist and period interiors, and the piece also makes a considered gift for housewarmings, weddings, and art lovers.
