Product Overview

Back of St. Peters Church, Melbourne - Sir Arthur Streeton - Entryway Wall Decor is part of our hand painted oil painting collection from the Sir Arthur Streeton Paintings selection. The Story Behind the Painting

In this cityscape work by Sir Arthur Streeton, color and structure do most of the storytelling. Because each piece is a hand painted oil painting rather than a printed reproduction, the layered pigment catches highlights differently across the day — exactly the quality people expect from vintage oil painting wall decor.

How It Is Made

From primer to varnish, the work is done manually on artist-grade canvas. The absence of digital printing is deliberate: it keeps the cityscape brushwork visible and gives the vintage oil painting wall decor a museum-like finish.
