Banks of the Seine at Villennes by Albert Marquet

Banks of the Seine at Villennes - Albert Marquet - Canvas Oil Painting

About This Piece

Choose Banks of the Seine at Villennes as a hand painted oil painting and skip the compromise of printed wall decor. Based on Albert Marquet's original. Our artists rebuild the fine art composition stroke by stroke, producing fauvist canvas wall art with lasting color depth.

The Story Behind the Painting

1913
Oil on canvas
Private collection.

Every hand painted oil painting in this fine art series is finished on artist-grade canvas and checked against the original before it leaves the studio.

Materials & Craftsmanship

Materials matter for fauvist wall decor. That is why this piece is built on artist-grade canvas with lightfast oil colors, applied by hand rather than output from a printer, and sealed for long-term display.
