About the Artwork
California Foothills with San Gabriel Mountains in the Distance has the kind of quiet presence that suits a bedroom without dominating it after Edgar Alwin Payne. Our artists work from the original image in stages, building the landscape forms in oil on canvas. The finished piece sits comfortably alongside landscape oil painting and other timeless wall art.
100% Hand Painted on Canvas
This is a genuine hand painted oil painting, not a canvas print. Our painters match the palette of California Foothills with San Gabriel Mountains in the Distance by eye and build up the landscape forms in thin layers, which is what gives the finished landscape oil painting its luminosity.
