Captain Lord House, Kennebunkport, Maine - Willard Leroy Metcalf - Oil Painting Wall Decor
Product Overview
Captain Lord House, Kennebunkport, Maine by Willard Leroy Metcalf is one of those images that never dates. Our studio recreates it as a hand painted oil painting — textured, color-rich, and ready to hang as canvas wall art in a hallway, study, or reception area.
The Story Behind the Painting
circa 1920
Oil on canvas
91.44 cm (36 in.) x 91.44 cm (36 in.)
Florence Griswold Museum, United States.
As hallway wall art, the piece pairs naturally with other timeless wall art and with warm neutrals, timber, and soft natural light.
100% Hand Painted on Canvas
This is a genuine hand painted oil painting, not a canvas print. Our painters match the palette of Captain Lord House, Kennebunkport, Maine by eye and build up the fine art forms in thin layers, which is what gives the finished fine art oil painting its luminosity.
