Children 1909 - Edouard Vuillard - Canvas Oil Painting

About This Piece

Children 1909 by Edouard Vuillard is one of those images that never dates. Our studio recreates it as a hand painted oil painting — textured, color-rich, and ready to hang as canvas wall art in a dining room, study, or reception area.

The Story Behind the Painting

1909
Peinture à l'essence on paper on card
89.9 cm (35.39 in.) x 76 cm (29.92 in.)
Private collection.

Our artists reproduce this figurative composition in oil on canvas by hand, preserving the tonal range that makes portrait oil painting so sought after for a dining room.

Materials & Craftsmanship

Oil on canvas remains the reference standard for post-impressionist reproductions. Our artists apply pigment by hand, blending the figurative tones directly on the surface for depth that a printed portrait oil painting simply cannot match.
