Church Feast in Kartly (Central Georgia) - Niko Pirosmani - Canvas Wall Art
About This Piece
Church Feast in Kartly (Central Georgia) - Niko Pirosmani - Canvas Wall Art suits both traditional and modern interiors. As a fine art oil painting, it works as a standalone focal point or as part of a dining room gallery wall, and unlike a print it is genuinely hand painted in oils.
About the Artwork
before 10 April 1918
Oil on oilcloth
212 x 113 cm (83.46 x 44.49 in)
The State Museum of Fine Arts of Georgia, Tbilisi.
The fine art subject is rebuilt stroke by stroke in oil, giving the finished canvas the depth expected of vintage oil painting wall decor.
100% Hand Painted on Canvas
From primer to varnish, the work is done manually on artist-grade canvas. The absence of digital printing is deliberate: it keeps the fine art brushwork visible and gives the vintage oil painting wall decor a museum-like finish.
