Claude Monet Painting by the Edge of the Woods - John Singer Sargent - Oil Painting
About This Piece
Nothing softens a home office like a painted surface. Claude Monet Painting by the Edge of the Woods by John Singer Sargent arrives as a hand painted oil painting on canvas, offering the landscape detail, soft gradients, and tactile finish that landscape oil painting shoppers look for.
About the Artwork
1885
Oil on canvas
54 cm (21.26 in.) x 64.8 cm (25.51 in.)
Tate Britain, England.
As office wall decor, the piece pairs naturally with other realist wall art and with warm neutrals, timber, and soft natural light.
Materials & Craftsmanship
From primer to varnish, the work is done manually on artist-grade canvas. The absence of digital printing is deliberate: it keeps the landscape brushwork visible and gives the realist oil painting wall decor a museum-like finish.
