For collectors searching wildlife oil painting, Dog Lying in the Snow is a dependable choice. Painted in layered oils on canvas after Franz Marc, this expressionist work reads equally well as classic canvas wall art and as a thoughtful housewarming gift.

Every hand painted oil painting in this wildlife series is finished on artist-grade canvas and checked against the original before it leaves the studio.
Oil on canvas remains the reference standard for expressionist reproductions. Our artists apply pigment by hand, blending the wildlife tones directly on the surface for depth that a printed wildlife oil painting simply cannot match.
expressionist canvas wall art is one of the easiest ways to warm an entryway. Pair this piece with natural linen, dark wood, or brushed brass, and let the hand painted surface do the rest.
