Dressing the Dead Girl (Dressing the Bride) - Gustave Courbet - Vintage Fine Art Reproduction
At a Glance
Dressing the Dead Girl (Dressing the Bride) - Gustave Courbet - Vintage Fine Art Reproduction brings gallery-caliber art into everyday spaces. This portrait oil painting is a 100% hand painted oil painting on canvas, created for buyers who want genuine vintage canvas wall art instead of a mass-produced poster or paper print.
Composition & Subject
circa 1855
Oil on canvas
Smith College Museum of Art, United States.
Every hand painted oil painting in this figurative series is finished on artist-grade canvas and checked against the original before it leaves the studio.
100% Hand Painted on Canvas
From primer to varnish, the work is done manually on artist-grade canvas. The absence of digital printing is deliberate: it keeps the figurative brushwork visible and gives the vintage oil painting wall decor a museum-like finish.
