Elles: Woman in a Corset - Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec - Post-Impressionist Oil Painting
About This Piece
Nothing softens a hallway like a painted surface. Elles: Woman in a Corset by Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec arrives as a hand painted oil painting on canvas, offering the figurative detail, soft gradients, and tactile finish that portrait oil painting shoppers look for.
Composition & Subject
1896
Black and blue chalk and oil on paper, laid down on canvas
Musée des Augustins, Toulouse, France.
Our artists reproduce this figurative composition in oil on canvas by hand, preserving the tonal range that makes portrait oil painting so sought after for a hallway.
How It Is Made
Each canvas is painted entirely by hand with professional oil paints on artist-grade cotton canvas. No printing, giclée, or digital imaging is used at any stage, so the surface keeps the slight relief and color variation of real brushwork.
