Fast Moving Shadows by Maynard Dixon

Fast Moving Shadows - Maynard Dixon - Oil Painting Wall Decor

About This Piece

From the first sketch to the final varnish, Fast Moving Shadows is made by hand. Based on Maynard Dixon's original. This romantic oil painting wall decor is crafted on artist-grade canvas for anyone who wants fine art oil painting with the character of an original.

The Story Behind the Painting

Painted by hand after Maynard Dixon, this fine art scene keeps the warmth of the original while gaining the durability of a modern canvas support. It is frequently chosen as hallway wall art and as fine art oil painting for hallways, studies, and open-plan living spaces.

100% Hand Painted on Canvas

Trained artists work in stages — underpainting, mid-tones, highlights, and detail — using traditional oils on canvas. Because nothing is printed, every hand painted oil painting has its own subtle texture and depth.
