From the first sketch to the final varnish, Ferns by the Water is made by hand. Based on Isaac Levitan's original. This romantic oil painting wall decor is crafted on artist-grade canvas for anyone who wants fine art oil painting with the character of an original.
1895
Oil on canvas
State museum association "Art culture of the Russian North", Arkhangelsk, Russia.
As office wall decor, the piece pairs naturally with other romantic wall art and with warm neutrals, timber, and soft natural light.
Trained artists work in stages — underpainting, mid-tones, highlights, and detail — using traditional oils on canvas. Because nothing is printed, every hand painted oil painting has its own subtle texture and depth.
For office wall decor that does not feel generic, a painted fine art canvas is hard to beat. It is a popular fine art oil painting pick for new homeowners and a durable alternative to seasonal poster art.
Order Ferns by the Water as a hand painted oil painting on canvas and add lasting romantic character to your home office. Custom sizes, a digital proof before dispatch, and secure worldwide shipping are included.
