Fires Begin - Sir Arthur Streeton - Canvas Oil Painting

About This Piece

Looking for cityscape oil painting with real brushwork? Fires Begin is reproduced by hand in oils on artist-grade canvas after Sir Arthur Streeton. The result is a piece of timeless oil painting wall decor that anchors a living room and rewards a closer look.

The Story Behind the Painting

Fires Begin has the kind of quiet presence that suits a living room without dominating it after Sir Arthur Streeton. Our artists work from the original image in stages, building the cityscape forms in oil on canvas. The finished piece sits comfortably alongside cityscape oil painting and other timeless wall art.

100% Hand Painted on Canvas

This is a genuine hand painted oil painting, not a canvas print. Our painters match the palette of Fires Begin by eye and build up the cityscape forms in thin layers, which is what gives the finished cityscape oil painting its luminosity.
