Flora: Spring in the Gardens of the Villa Borghese - Sir Lawrence Alma-Tadema - Oil Painting Wall Decor
At a Glance
Flora: Spring in the Gardens of the Villa Borghese by Sir Lawrence Alma-Tadema is one of those images that never dates. Our studio recreates it as a hand painted oil painting — textured, color-rich, and ready to hang as canvas wall art in a hallway, study, or reception area.
About the Artwork
1877
watercolor
Private collection.
This painting may have influenced John William Waterhouse's Flora (1890) and Narcissus (1912).
Every hand painted oil painting in this landscape series is finished on artist-grade canvas and checked against the original before it leaves the studio.
Materials & Craftsmanship
This is a genuine hand painted oil painting, not a canvas print. Our painters match the palette of Flora: Spring in the Gardens of the Villa Borghese by eye and build up the landscape forms in thin layers, which is what gives the finished landscape oil painting its luminosity.
