Group (Siesta in a Swiss Wood or The Sleepers) - John Singer Sargent - Landscape Canvas Wall Art
About This Piece
Group (Siesta in a Swiss Wood or The Sleepers) - John Singer Sargent - Landscape Canvas Wall Art suits both traditional and modern interiors. As a landscape oil painting, it works as a standalone focal point or as part of a hallway gallery wall, and unlike a print it is genuinely hand painted in oils.
About the Artwork
circa 1904-1905
watercolor over pencil on paper
Private collection.
Our artists reproduce this landscape composition in oil on canvas by hand, preserving the tonal range that makes landscape oil painting so sought after for a hallway.
100% Hand Painted on Canvas
Trained artists work in stages — underpainting, mid-tones, highlights, and detail — using traditional oils on canvas. Because nothing is printed, every hand painted oil painting has its own subtle texture and depth.
