The Story Behind the Painting

1902
Oil on canvas
Private collection.

Every hand painted oil painting in this wildlife series is finished on artist-grade canvas and checked against the original before it leaves the studio.

How It Is Made

This is a genuine hand painted oil painting, not a canvas print. Our painters match the palette of Horsemen on the Beach by eye and build up the wildlife forms in thin layers, which is what gives the finished wildlife oil painting its luminosity.
