Houses at the Foot of a Cliff at Saint-Valery-sur-Somme - Edgar Degas - Impressionist Oil Painting
Product Overview
Choose Houses at the Foot of a Cliff at Saint-Valery-sur-Somme as a hand painted oil painting and skip the compromise of printed wall decor. Based on Edgar Degas's original. Our artists rebuild the seascape composition stroke by stroke, producing impressionist canvas wall art with lasting color depth.
About the Artwork
circa 1896-1898
Oil on canvas
Columbus Museum of Art, United States.
As bedroom wall art, the piece pairs naturally with other impressionist wall art and with warm neutrals, timber, and soft natural light.
How It Is Made
From primer to varnish, the work is done manually on artist-grade canvas. The absence of digital printing is deliberate: it keeps the seascape brushwork visible and gives the impressionist oil painting wall decor a museum-like finish.
