Julie with Pasie in the Garden at Bougival - Berthe Morisot - Canvas Oil Painting
About This Piece
Nothing softens an entryway like a painted surface. Julie with Pasie in the Garden at Bougival by Berthe Morisot arrives as a hand painted oil painting on canvas, offering the landscape detail, soft gradients, and tactile finish that landscape oil painting shoppers look for.
The Story Behind the Painting
1881
Oil on canvas
59.6 cm (23.46 in.) x 73 cm (28.74 in.)
National Museums and Galleries of Wales, Wales.
Our artists reproduce this landscape composition in oil on canvas by hand, preserving the tonal range that makes landscape oil painting so sought after for an entryway.
How It Is Made
From primer to varnish, the work is done manually on artist-grade canvas. The absence of digital printing is deliberate: it keeps the landscape brushwork visible and gives the impressionist oil painting wall decor a museum-like finish.
