La scierie de Poitiers (The Poitiers Sawmill) - Armand Guillaumin - Impressionist Canvas Wall Art
About This Piece
La scierie de Poitiers (The Poitiers Sawmill) - Armand Guillaumin - Impressionist Canvas Wall Art suits both traditional and modern interiors. As a fine art oil painting, it works as a standalone focal point or as part of a hallway gallery wall, and unlike a print it is genuinely hand painted in oils.
Composition & Subject
ca. 1910
Oil on canvas
The fine art subject is rebuilt stroke by stroke in oil, giving the finished canvas the depth expected of impressionist oil painting wall decor.
How It Is Made
Materials matter for impressionist wall decor. That is why this piece is built on artist-grade canvas with lightfast oil colors, applied by hand rather than output from a printer, and sealed for long-term display.
