La Toilette - Woman Combing Her Hair - Pierre-Auguste Renoir - Impressionist Canvas Wall Art
At a Glance
La Toilette - Woman Combing Her Hair - Pierre-Auguste Renoir - Impressionist Canvas Wall Art suits both traditional and modern interiors. As a portrait oil painting, it works as a standalone focal point or as part of an entryway gallery wall, and unlike a print it is genuinely hand painted in oils.
The Story Behind the Painting
1907-1908
Oil on canvas
Musée d'Orsay, France.
The figurative subject is rebuilt stroke by stroke in oil, giving the finished canvas the depth expected of impressionist oil painting wall decor.
How It Is Made
Each canvas is painted entirely by hand with professional oil paints on artist-grade cotton canvas. No printing, giclée, or digital imaging is used at any stage, so the surface keeps the slight relief and color variation of real brushwork.
