Ladies Seated on a Bench (Ladies in the Park) - Maurice Brazil Prendergast - Oil Painting
About This Piece
Choose Ladies Seated on a Bench (Ladies in the Park) as a hand painted oil painting and skip the compromise of printed wall decor. Based on Maurice Brazil Prendergast's original. Our artists rebuild the landscape composition stroke by stroke, producing traditional canvas wall art with lasting color depth.
Composition & Subject
circa 1893-1894
watercolor and pencil on paper
Private collection.
Every hand painted oil painting in this landscape series is finished on artist-grade canvas and checked against the original before it leaves the studio.
Materials & Craftsmanship
Oil on canvas remains the reference standard for traditional reproductions. Our artists apply pigment by hand, blending the landscape tones directly on the surface for depth that a printed landscape oil painting simply cannot match.
