Les Cigales et les fourmis - Souvenir de la Martinique - Paul Gauguin - Oil Painting Wall Decor
About This Piece
Looking for fine art oil painting with real brushwork? Les Cigales et les fourmis - Souvenir de la Martinique is reproduced by hand in oils on artist-grade canvas after Paul Gauguin. The result is a piece of post-impressionist oil painting wall decor that anchors a dining room and rewards a closer look.
The Story Behind the Painting
Painted by hand after Paul Gauguin, this fine art scene keeps the warmth of the original while gaining the durability of a modern canvas support. It is frequently chosen as dining room wall art and as fine art oil painting for hallways, studies, and open-plan living spaces.
100% Hand Painted on Canvas
Trained artists work in stages — underpainting, mid-tones, highlights, and detail — using traditional oils on canvas. Because nothing is printed, every hand painted oil painting has its own subtle texture and depth.
