About This Piece
Lord Crewe's Groom Bringing Up a Second Horse for the Hunt - George Stubbs - Oil Painting for Hallway is part of our hand painted oil painting collection from the George Stubbs Paintings selection. Each canvas is worked by a trained artist, then inspected before dispatch — a practical route to owning vintage wall decor at a fraction of gallery pricing.
The Story Behind the Painting
Oil on Canvas
82.2 x 96.5 cm. (32.4 x 38 in.)
Every hand painted oil painting in this wildlife series is finished on artist-grade canvas and checked against the original before it leaves the studio.
How It Is Made
From primer to varnish, the work is done manually on artist-grade canvas. The absence of digital printing is deliberate: it keeps the wildlife brushwork visible and gives the vintage oil painting wall decor a museum-like finish.
Product Details
- A true oil-on-canvas painting produced manually by our artists — not a mass-produced print.
- An extra 2-inch blank border is left around all edges for easy stretching and framing.
- We dispatch worldwide ourselves, so there are no middlemen in the chain.
- Available canvas sizes for this hand painted oil painting: 20 X 24 in, 24 X 36 in, 30 X 40 in, 36 X 48 in, 48 X 72 in.
- Choose from standard sizes or request a custom dimension to fit your wall.
- We work with DHL, UPS, FedEx, USPS and additional couriers to keep delivery affordable.
- Complimentary stretching over wooden stretcher bars; ask us about a custom frame.
- We send a digital image of your wildlife painting for approval before it ships.
