Lucy Hessel and Jeanne Strauss at Etincelles - Edouard Vuillard - Oil Painting Wall Decor
At a Glance
Nothing softens a home office like a painted surface. Lucy Hessel and Jeanne Strauss at Etincelles by Edouard Vuillard arrives as a hand painted oil painting on canvas, offering the fine art detail, soft gradients, and tactile finish that fine art oil painting shoppers look for.
Composition & Subject
1902
Oil and gouache on card
Private collection.
As office wall decor, the piece pairs naturally with other post-impressionist wall art and with warm neutrals, timber, and soft natural light.
100% Hand Painted on Canvas
From primer to varnish, the work is done manually on artist-grade canvas. The absence of digital printing is deliberate: it keeps the fine art brushwork visible and gives the post-impressionist oil painting wall decor a museum-like finish.
