Product Overview
Mavourneen (Portrait of Kathleen Newton) - James Tissot - Vintage Canvas Wall Art is part of our hand painted oil painting collection from the James Tissot Paintings selection. Composition & Subject
1877
Oil on canvas
Private collection.
As hallway wall art, the piece pairs naturally with other vintage wall art and with warm neutrals, timber, and soft natural light.
Materials & Craftsmanship
From primer to varnish, the work is done manually on artist-grade canvas. The absence of digital printing is deliberate: it keeps the figurative brushwork visible and gives the vintage oil painting wall decor a museum-like finish.
