For collectors searching portrait oil painting, Nude Reclining on a Sofa is a dependable choice. Painted in layered oils on canvas after Edouard Vuillard, this post-impressionist work reads equally well as classic canvas wall art and as a thoughtful housewarming gift.
Oil on cardboard
Private collection
Every hand painted oil painting in this figurative series is finished on artist-grade canvas and checked against the original before it leaves the studio.
This is a genuine hand painted oil painting, not a canvas print. Our painters match the palette of Nude Reclining on a Sofa by eye and build up the figurative forms in thin layers, which is what gives the finished portrait oil painting its luminosity.
Hang this portrait oil painting above a sofa, console, or bed to give a hallway an instant focal point. Its post-impressionist palette works with both minimalist and period interiors, and the piece also makes a considered gift for housewarmings, weddings, and art lovers.
Order Nude Reclining on a Sofa as a hand painted oil painting on canvas and add lasting post-impressionist character to your hallway. Custom sizes, a digital proof before dispatch, and secure worldwide shipping are included.
