Nudes in the Open Air (Nudes under Trees) - Franz Marc - Bedroom Wall Art
Product Overview
Nudes in the Open Air (Nudes under Trees) by Franz Marc is one of those images that never dates. Our studio recreates it as a hand painted oil painting — textured, color-rich, and ready to hang as canvas wall art in a bedroom, study, or reception area.
The Story Behind the Painting
1911
Oil on canvas
110 cm (43.31 in.) x 179 cm (70.47 in.)
Museum Kunstpalast, Dusseldorf, Germany.
The figurative subject is rebuilt stroke by stroke in oil, giving the finished canvas the depth expected of expressionist oil painting wall decor.
How It Is Made
Trained artists work in stages — underpainting, mid-tones, highlights, and detail — using traditional oils on canvas. Because nothing is printed, every hand painted oil painting has its own subtle texture and depth.
