Product Overview
Looking for wildlife oil painting with real brushwork? Oscar and Bobino on the Fishing Smack is reproduced by hand in oils on artist-grade canvas after John Singer Sargent. The result is a piece of realist oil painting wall decor that anchors an entryway and rewards a closer look.
About the Artwork
1874
watercolor and pencil on paper
Metropolitan Museum of Art, United States.
Every hand painted oil painting in this wildlife series is finished on artist-grade canvas and checked against the original before it leaves the studio.
Materials & Craftsmanship
Trained artists work in stages — underpainting, mid-tones, highlights, and detail — using traditional oils on canvas. Because nothing is printed, every hand painted oil painting has its own subtle texture and depth.
