Product Overview

Parisienne (Portrait of Madame Cohen-Rubens) by Akseli Gallen-Kallela is one of those images that never dates. Our studio recreates it as a hand painted oil painting — textured, color-rich, and ready to hang as canvas wall art in a living room, study, or reception area.

The Story Behind the Painting

1888
Oil on canvas
Private collection.

Collectors often choose this figurative image when searching for portrait oil painting that feels substantial rather than decorative or disposable.

100% Hand Painted on Canvas

Trained artists work in stages — underpainting, mid-tones, highlights, and detail — using traditional oils on canvas. Because nothing is printed, every hand painted oil painting has its own subtle texture and depth.
