Perseus, on Pegasus, Hastening to the Rescue of Andromeda - Sir Frederic Lord Leighton - Canvas Oil Painting
About This Piece
Perseus, on Pegasus, Hastening to the Rescue of Andromeda - Sir Frederic Lord Leighton - Canvas Oil Painting suits both traditional and modern interiors. As a fine art oil painting, it works as a standalone focal point or as part of a bedroom gallery wall, and unlike a print it is genuinely hand painted in oils.
Composition & Subject
1896
Oil on canvas
New Walk Museum & Art Gallery, Leicester, United Kingdom.
As bedroom wall art, the piece pairs naturally with other elegant wall art and with warm neutrals, timber, and soft natural light.
100% Hand Painted on Canvas
Each canvas is painted entirely by hand with professional oil paints on artist-grade cotton canvas. No printing, giclée, or digital imaging is used at any stage, so the surface keeps the slight relief and color variation of real brushwork.
