Poppies on the Isles of Shoals - Frederick Childe Hassam - Canvas Oil Painting

The Story Behind the Painting
1890
Oil on canvas
Brooklyn Museum of Art, United States.
Every hand painted oil painting in this still life series is finished on artist-grade canvas and checked against the original before it leaves the studio.
100% Hand Painted on Canvas
This is a genuine hand painted oil painting, not a canvas print. Our painters match the palette of Poppies on the Isles of Shoals by eye and build up the still life forms in thin layers, which is what gives the finished still life oil painting its luminosity.
