Portrait of a Lady (unfinished) by Gustav Klimt is one of those images that never dates. Our studio recreates it as a hand painted oil painting — textured, color-rich, and ready to hang as canvas wall art in a dining room, study, or reception area.
1917-1918
67 x 56 cm
Neue Galerie des Stadt Linz, Wolfgang-Gurlitt-Museum, Linz, Austria.
This unfinished portrait from the last year of Klimt's life makes it possible to see something of his working methods. When the outline of the figure is in place, the face is worked on first; then comes the accompanying decor.
Our artists reproduce this figurative composition in oil on canvas by hand, preserving the tonal range that makes portrait oil painting so sought after for a dining room.
Each canvas is painted entirely by hand with professional oil paints on artist-grade cotton canvas. No printing, giclée, or digital imaging is used at any stage, so the surface keeps the slight relief and color variation of real brushwork.
This figurative oil painting wall decor is equally at home in a residence, a boutique hotel, or a professional office. Its art nouveau character makes it a safe, distinctive gift for anyone furnishing a dining room.
In short: Portrait of a Lady (unfinished) - Gustav Klimt - Oil Painting Wall Decor combines an art nouveau composition, a 100% hand painted oil painting process, and the flexibility of made-to-order canvas sizes — a dependable choice for portrait oil painting and dining room wall art.
