Portrait of a Lady with Red Hair - Thomas Gainsborough - Canvas Wall Art
About This Piece
From the first sketch to the final varnish, Portrait of a Lady with Red Hair is made by hand. Based on Thomas Gainsborough's original. This classical oil painting wall decor is crafted on artist-grade canvas for anyone who wants portrait oil painting with the character of an original.
Composition & Subject
1786-1787
Oil on canvas
231 cm (90.94 in.) x 152.5 cm (60.04 in.)
Ascott House - National Trust, Leighton Buzzard, United Kingdom.
Every hand painted oil painting in this figurative series is finished on artist-grade canvas and checked against the original before it leaves the studio.
Materials & Craftsmanship
Oil on canvas remains the reference standard for classical reproductions. Our artists apply pigment by hand, blending the figurative tones directly on the surface for depth that a printed portrait oil painting simply cannot match.
