Portrait of a Seated Lady in Black, on a Beach - Sir John Lavery - Canvas Oil Painting
About This Piece
Choose Portrait of a Seated Lady in Black, on a Beach as a hand painted oil painting and skip the compromise of printed wall decor. Based on Sir John Lavery's original. Our artists rebuild the figurative composition stroke by stroke, producing timeless canvas wall art with lasting color depth.
About the Artwork
Portrait of a Seated Lady in Black, on a Beach has the kind of quiet presence that suits a dining room without dominating it after Sir John Lavery. Our artists work from the original image in stages, building the figurative forms in oil on canvas. The finished piece sits comfortably alongside portrait oil painting and other timeless wall art.
How It Is Made
This is a genuine hand painted oil painting, not a canvas print. Our painters match the palette of Portrait of a Seated Lady in Black, on a Beach by eye and build up the figurative forms in thin layers, which is what gives the finished portrait oil painting its luminosity.
