Portrait of Francis Basset, Lord de Dunstanville - Thomas Gainsborough - Oil Painting Wall Decor
Product Overview
Portrait of Francis Basset, Lord de Dunstanville by Thomas Gainsborough is one of those images that never dates. Our studio recreates it as a hand painted oil painting — textured, color-rich, and ready to hang as canvas wall art in a dining room, study, or reception area.
About the Artwork
circa 1786
Oil on canvas
127 cm (50 in.) x 101.6 cm (40 in.)
National Gallery of Art - Washington DC, United States.
Our artists reproduce this figurative composition in oil on canvas by hand, preserving the tonal range that makes portrait oil painting so sought after for a dining room.
Materials & Craftsmanship
Trained artists work in stages — underpainting, mid-tones, highlights, and detail — using traditional oils on canvas. Because nothing is printed, every hand painted oil painting has its own subtle texture and depth.
