Portrait of Sir John Whitefoord, Bt. of Blairquhan - Thomas Gainsborough - Figurative Canvas Wall Art
At a Glance
Portrait of Sir John Whitefoord, Bt. of Blairquhan - Thomas Gainsborough - Figurative Canvas Wall Art suits both traditional and modern interiors. As a portrait oil painting, it works as a standalone focal point or as part of a hallway gallery wall, and unlike a print it is genuinely hand painted in oils.
About the Artwork
Oil on Canvas
72.5 x 60 cm. (28.5 x 23.6 in.)
Our artists reproduce this figurative composition in oil on canvas by hand, preserving the tonal range that makes portrait oil painting so sought after for a hallway.
How It Is Made
From primer to varnish, the work is done manually on artist-grade canvas. The absence of digital printing is deliberate: it keeps the figurative brushwork visible and gives the classical oil painting wall decor a museum-like finish.
