Portrait of the Artist - Mary Cassatt - Gallery Wall Art
Product Overview
Portrait of the Artist - Mary Cassatt - Gallery Wall Art is part of our hand painted oil painting collection from the Mary Cassatt Paintings selection. Each canvas is worked by a trained artist, then inspected before dispatch — a practical route to owning impressionist wall decor at a fraction of gallery pricing.
About the Artwork
c.1878
gouache on paper
Metropolitan Museum of Art, United States.
The figurative subject is rebuilt stroke by stroke in oil, giving the finished canvas the depth expected of impressionist oil painting wall decor.
How It Is Made
Oil on canvas remains the reference standard for impressionist reproductions. Our artists apply pigment by hand, blending the figurative tones directly on the surface for depth that a printed portrait oil painting simply cannot match.
