Portrait of Two Children of the Bathurst Family - Thomas Gainsborough - Hand Painted Oil Painting
About This Piece
Choose Portrait of Two Children of the Bathurst Family as a hand painted oil painting and skip the compromise of printed wall decor. Based on Thomas Gainsborough's original. Our artists rebuild the figurative composition stroke by stroke, producing classical canvas wall art with lasting color depth.
Composition & Subject
Oil on canvas
150 x 120 cm. (59.1 x 47.2 in.)
The figurative subject is rebuilt stroke by stroke in oil, giving the finished canvas the depth expected of classical oil painting wall decor.
Materials & Craftsmanship
Oil on canvas remains the reference standard for classical reproductions. Our artists apply pigment by hand, blending the figurative tones directly on the surface for depth that a printed portrait oil painting simply cannot match.

Where to Hang It
classical canvas wall art is one of the easiest ways to warm an entryway. Pair this piece with natural linen, dark wood, or brushed brass, and let the hand painted surface do the rest.
