Portrait of Virginia Gerson - William Merritt Chase - Classic Oil Painting
At a Glance
From the first sketch to the final varnish, Portrait of Virginia Gerson is made by hand. Based on William Merritt Chase's original. This classic oil painting wall decor is crafted on artist-grade canvas for anyone who wants portrait oil painting with the character of an original.
Composition & Subject
Oil on canvas
71.76 cm (28.25 in.) x 59.69 cm (23.5 in.)
Every hand painted oil painting in this figurative series is finished on artist-grade canvas and checked against the original before it leaves the studio.
How It Is Made
Expect subtle, hand-made variation rather than factory uniformity. Each figurative canvas is painted with oils, allowed to cure properly, and inspected before it is approved for shipment.
